We’re Bill and Julie Newberry, we design and build furniture and kitchen tools. Our projects start and end with a personal relationship— whether with a client or our own kitchen. Our process is concept, sawyer, and woodworking in our studio. Good design, raw lumber are turned into functional art. Usefulness should be beautiful. All the cool people buy local and handmade this year!

About Us

Newberry Cutting Board Care:

From Our Woodshop to Your Kitchen: a wooden surface remains the traditional favorite. Cherry, Walnut, Maple and Purple Heart provide stripes of natural color.

Handcrafted in Missouri by Bill & Julie Newberry

Care Instructions: Wood cutting boards are safe when used & maintained properly. Clean after every use. Scrub with hot soapy water, rinse & dry the board. To avoid cross-contamination do not use the same side for meat & vegetables. To oil: use about ten parts mineral oil to one part paraffin wax. Double boil until liquid & wipe on. The board is ready for use. Wipe with a soft cloth before first use. Re-coat periodically. Keep this card handy by putting it in your recipe card box.

Oven Push Puller — Beth Styles

Most home cooks (including this one) have war wounds from the oven, a sneaky temptress that lures you close with the promise of freshly baked goods only to burn you or, more literally, your wrist. This modern and sustainable take on the classic push puller tool—handmade by a local artist from wood - will solve the problem. It’s nice eye candy for the countertop, too. http://www.etsy.com/listing/80978958/oven-push-puller-wooden-nostalgic
